Will this crop my video to vertical?
The preset targets 9:16 output. If your source is already vertical, it scales to fit. If your source is horizontal, enable "maintain orientation" on the upload page or pick a horizontal preset on compress video.
Is compression lossy?
Yes—smaller files discard some detail. The vertical preset balances size and clarity for typical talking-head and screen Shorts. Keep your original export if you need an archive master.
How long are files stored?
Uploads and outputs are removed automatically within 24 hours. Only you can access your jobs while they exist.
